BALANCE: A humorous look at finding health and life balance when living a life of extremes.  After making the decision to return for a few months to Antarctica, I quickly realized that maintaining my health goals would be the ULTIMATE challenge.   We work at least 54 hours a week, I’m outside every day in extreme temperatures performing heavy physical labor,  we are exposed to a lot of industrial chemicals and exhaust, and worst of all the food is mostly low-grade, frozen, and packaged!  ACK! I pretty much lost control over many of the tools I’ve acquired in my health journey or did I?
